Nigy Boy to Make First St. Croix Appearance at Sunny Side Up’s “Boots & Bottles”

ST. CROIX — Virgin Islanders looking to take a break from the territory’s politics will have a rodeo-themed option Sunday, when Island Vybez Promotions brings its latest Sunny Side Up event to Prosperity Farm with Jamaican dancehall recording artist Nigy Boy making his first St. Croix appearance. The “Boots & Bottles” Rodeo Edition will run from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 26. Guests may attend in cowboy or cowgirl attire of any style and color. Island Vybez partnered with Tortola-based YOLO Promotions to secure Nigy Boy for the event. The artist is known for songs including “Options,” “Judgement,” “Risk it all” and “Jeezum.” The entertainment lineup also includes Freeze International, who has roots in Trinidad and is based in New York City; DJ Stakz, who has roots in Haiti and is also based in New York City; General of Y2K Sounds; and Syndicate Sounds.
