
Keithley Jones Sentenced to 12 Years for Unlawful Sexual Contact With a Minor

ST. CROIX — A man convicted of sexually abusing a child under the age of 13 has been sentenced to 12 years in prison, the V.I. Department of Justice confirmed Thursday. The sentence was handed down in V.I. Superior Court on March 26, following the conviction of Keithley Jones for first-degree unlawful sexual contact. The case was presided over by Judge Douglas Brady, who ordered that Jones be subjected to a presentence investigation report and that he register as a sex offender as part of his sentencing. According to the VIDOJ, the criminal charges against Jones arose from incidents of sexual abuse that occurred between 2019 and 2022. At the time of the abuse, the victim was under 13 years of age.
