Leadership Shift at WAPA as CFO Jacob Lewis Steps Down

The V.I. Water and Power Authority has announced the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer Jacob Lewis. Lewis, who WAPA said will be leaving to pursue a new professional opportunity. He will continue his duties until the end of the year to facilitate a smooth transition. Andrew Smith, the CEO of WAPA, expressed his sentiments regarding Lewis's departure: “I have worked with Jake since 2015 and I am sorry to see him go. He has been a tremendous asset to WAPA and has contributed to significant improvement not only in the Authority’s finance function but also across the entire organization.”  Stepping into the role of Interim CFO is Lorraine Kelly, the current director of accounting/comptroller at WAPA.
