St. Thomas-St. John District Launches 2024-2025 After School Snack Program

The V.I. Department of Education’s St. Thomas-St. John District School Food Authority (SFA) has announced the launch of its 2024-2025 After School Snack Program. The initiative, which will run from January 21, 2025, to May 9, 2025, aims to provide nutritious snacks for children participating in after-school programs in the district. Applications are now available for the program, which caters to children between the ages of 4 to 18, and up to 21 years for those with special needs. Interested organizations can obtain applications from the SFA office located at #21 Subbase, St. Thomas. Applications for eligible sites will be accepted continuously throughout the program’s duration. The program seeks to support children’s health, well-being, and ability to focus during after-school activities by ensuring access to balanced and healthy snacks.
