The three major Virgin Islands banks have announced closures for August 27, as tropical storm Erika continues onward towards the territory, and is expected to start impacting the islands on Thursday morning. Press releases are below: Scotiabank: Due to the anticipated effects of Tropical Storm Erika, all USVI Scotiabank branches will be closed on Thursday, August 27, 2015.
