VI Legislature Announces Protocols for Oath of Office, State of the Territory Events in January

The Legislature of the Virgin Islands announced Friday its guidelines for the Ecumenical, Oath of Office, Organizational ceremonies and the Governor’s State of the Territory Address which are all scheduled for January 2021. Events and protocols: Monday, January 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Members of the 34th Legislature will take their oath of office during a ceremony in the Emancipation Gardens, followed by the organization of the Body at the Earle B. Ottley Legislative Hall on St. Thomas. “Regrettably our families, friends, special guests, and even our professional staff, will not be able to participate in the same way they have in previous years,” said Senate President Novelle E.
