V.I. Carnival Set For March 31 Through April 28; Theme Announced

ST. THOMAS -- Fresh off of the St. Croix 2017-18 Festival, the VI Carnival Committee announced on Wednesday the dates of the annual event, which starts on March 31 and ends on April 28. The committee also announced this year's theme: “Embrace our culture, music, and cuisine for Carnival 2018.” Here are the announcements the committee has made so far: V.I. Carnival 2018 Calypsonians to Meet Saturday The Virgin Islands Carnival Calypso Committee is inviting all calypsonians interested in competing for the 2018 Calypso Monarch title to a meeting scheduled for Saturday, January 20th at 1:00 p.m. in the Carnival Committee’s office located at 34-A-1 Hospital Gade, formerly Mannos Building.
