Lieutenant Governor Roach Out of Territory to Attend NAIC Meeting in Savannah, Georgia

Lieutenant Governor Tregenza Roach left the territory Tuesday to attend the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Summer/Fall Southeast (SE) Zone Meeting in Savannah, GA, Mr. Roach's office has made known. In his capacity as the commissioner of Insurance for the U.S. Virgin Islands, Mr. Roach serves as a member of NAIC and actively participates in various conferences and meetings funded by the NAIC, the release stated. At the meeting, plenary sessions, keynote presentations, and panel discussions from industry professionals will include topics surrounding regulatory issues and property claims related to natural catastrophes in the SE Zone, insurance carrier compliance with the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA), financial regulation standards for life insurance and annuities, and health innovations cybersecurity.
