Washington Mystics Player Madison Scott to Lead All-Girls Basketball Clinic in St. Thomas

ST. THOMAS — Washington Mystics player Madison Scott will lead an all-girls basketball clinic in St. Thomas on July 23, offering participants training in fundamental skills alongside lessons in confidence, leadership, teamwork and personal development. The clinic is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Mark C. Marin Center at Antilles. It is being presented by the Madi Scott Basketball Foundation, MyIsland Ballers and Vivid Streaming. Maurice Wells, president of MyIsland Ballers, said the event is intended to provide more than basketball instruction by encouraging girls to set ambitious goals and learn from a female professional athlete with Virgin Islands family connections. “The main goal is to provide not only basketball training but also to empower our girls to dream big.
