Lt. Gov. Tregenza Roach Travels to NAIC Southeastern Zone Meeting in South Carolina

Lieutenant Governor Tregenza Roach departed the U.S. Virgin Islands today to attend the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Southeastern Zone Business Meeting being held in Greenville, South Carolina. According to Mr. Roach's office, in his role as the territory’s Commissioner of Insurance, the lieutenant governor is a standing member of the NAIC and plays an active part in a wide range of meetings, trainings, and conferences organized by the national association. His attendance at these events is funded directly by the NAIC. The National Association of Insurance Commissioners provides regulatory guidance, data, and expert analysis to state and territorial insurance commissioners across the nation. Its aim is to assist in the effective regulation of the insurance industry and ensure consumer protections are maintained across jurisdictions.
