Virgin Islander Jeth B. Rey Promoted to Lieutenant General in the United States Army

Governor Albert Bryan Jr. has announced the historic promotion of Virgin Islander Jeth B. Rey to the rank of Lieutenant General (LTG) in the United States Army. This milestone makes LTG Rey the second Virgin Islander in recent history to achieve this distinguished rank, marking the culmination of a remarkable 42-year military career. According to Government House, LTG Rey’s career stands as a testament to unparalleled dedication and excellence. Having achieved 17 promotions and worn 18 ranks, he is the most promoted soldier in the U.S. Army since World War II. His ascent through the ranks is a reflection of his leadership and steadfast commitment to service.
