St. Thomas Man Arrested for Violent Home Invasion and Assault on Girlfriend

ST. THOMAS — A man is facing domestic violence charges after being arrested on May 13 for burglary and assault, the VIPD confirmed. According to the police report, the incident occurred in the early hours of March 28, 2024, at a residence in Pillsbury Heights. The victim, a 46-year-old white female, reported that she was asleep when she was abruptly awakened by her boyfriend, 32-year-old Elijah Henry, who began shouting and yelling at her. She expressed confusion over how Henry gained entry to her home, noting he did not have a key. The altercation escalated when Henry allegedly punched the victim with a closed fist to her face, strangled her to the point where she could not breathe, and damaged multiple items within the home.
