Man Arrested for DUI Following Two-Car Collision Near Seventh Day Adventist Church

ST. CROIX — A St. Croix resident was arrested for driving under the influence Saturday evening following a two-vehicle crash near the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Grove Place, according to the V.I. Police Department. The incident occurred on Plessen Road at approximately 8:11 p.m. on April 12, prompting a response from the VIPD Patrol Bureau. Upon arrival, officers made contact with both drivers involved in the crash. One of the drivers told police that he had been traveling south when the other driver, identified as 65-year-old Ervin Christophe, was heading north and allegedly swerved into his lane.
