
VIDOH to Close Offices on Select Days to Honor Public Health Employees During National Public Health Week

In recognition of National Public Health Week, observed from April 7 to April 13, the V.I. Department of Health will temporarily close its offices and clinics on designated days in each district to celebrate Employee Appreciation Day for its staff. According to a release issued by the department, this year’s observance will include dedicated time to honor the contributions and commitment of DOH’s employees, who are credited with playing a vital role in safeguarding public health across the territory. In the St. Thomas-St. John District, all Department of Health offices and clinics will be closed on Monday, April 7. Normal operations in that district will resume on Tuesday, April 8. Meanwhile, in the St. Croix District, VIDOH offices and clinics will be closed on Friday, April 11. Regular operations are scheduled to resume on Monday, April 14.
