It is with great sadness that the family of Carmen Serrano-Springer of Union & Mount Washington announces her passing on September 4th, 2024, at the Juan F. Luis Hospital in St. Croix at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesus Serrano and Julia Almestica Serrano; daughter Judith Magras and son Carl Decicco; siblings Serafin Serrano, Herman Serrano, Gilberto Serrano, Theodore Serrano, and Angelina Serrano.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth G. Springer along with her daughter,  

Charmin L. Springer and her sons Jacques Magras, Basilio Felix, Jose Ortiz, Andrew F. Corriette Jr., Kenneth R. Springer and their children. Her stepchildren Charlene Springer, Gary Springer, Ian Springer, Alene Springer, Robert Springer, Nicole Springer and Nicholas Springer. Daughters-in-law: Jasmine John and Gloribel Corriette . Additionally, she leaves behind her siblings, sisters Noria Ash and Olimpia Serrano and their children, brother Moises Serrano and his children.

Other survivors include numerous beloved relatives, Maria Serrano- Rodriguez, special friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and loved ones too numerous to mention.

The Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, at Divine Funeral Services and Crematory at 129 Peter’s Rest, Christiansted, St. Croix. The viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. and the funeral service will commence at 10:00 a.m. The private Sea Burial  for family members will be launched on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. from the downtown Christiansted dock.
