ST. CROIX — V.I.D.P. officers on Wednesday arrested a 26-year-old St. Croix man on multiple internet pornography charges perpetrated against a minor.
According to police spokesman Toby Derima, on Wednesday at approximately 6:45 a.m., Brandon Teliam, age 26 of Prince Street, Frederiksted, was arrested on a warrant and charged with obscene internet contact with a minor, visual medium depicting sexually explicit conduct, computer pornography, blackmail, sending threatening letters, and distribution or exhibition to minors.
Teliam is accused of having obscene and inappropriate contact with a minor on the internet, according to the V.I.P.D. news release.
Unable to make bail of $25,000, Teliam as remanded to the Golden Grove Correctional Facility pending his advisement hearing.
