CASTRIES, St. Lucia, CMC – Police say one person is assisting their investigations into the death of a 30-year-old woman, whose body was found in a burnt out vehicle in Gros Islet, north of Castries on Sunday morning.
The authorities have since identified the woman as Krystal George, 30, and say they are treating her death as a homicide.
The police said a male suspect had been detained for questioning after the St .Lucia Fire Service said it had been called out to the area about 2.00 am (local time) on Sunday morning.
The body of the woman was found in the driver’s seat.
