The V.I. Port Authority is inviting the public to a town hall meeting to discuss the authority’s plans to design a multi-purpose facility for cultural events at the Enighed Pond property on St. John.

The Townhall will be held at the Cleone H. Creque Legislative Annex in Cruz Bay, St. John at 6 p.m. on September 8. It will also be available virtually through the Zoom platform here, with ID 818 1516 5657 and password: 113142

VIPA Executive Director Carlton Dowe will chair the meeting, according to the notice. Mr. Dowe will be accompanied by his executive team and the authority’s marine consultant Moffatt and Nichol.

The design phase of this project is funded via a $400,000 appropriation from the 34th Legislature via Act No. 8473.  The public is encouraged to come prepared to share ideas, ask questions and present any concerns.

Questions may also be submitted via e-mail to VIPA Engineer Earl Thomas at [email protected]
