Nyron Erickson By. BVI ROYAL POLICE FORCE

BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS — BVI police is seeking the public’s help to find 27-year-old Nyron Erickson, who has been described as a wanted man.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force said late yesterday that an arrest warrant was issued for Erickson, of West End, Tortola. Police Information Officer Akia Thomas declined to say why Erickson ended up on the Wanted Man list. “That is all the information we can give at this time,” she told VI Consortium.

Police reports indicated that Erickson of Belmont Estate was arrested and charged for robbery on November 18, 2018.

In 2014, Erickson was before the courts charged with landing without leave from an Immigration Officer, refusing to stop a vessel when required to do so by the Customs Department, negligence in navigation of a vessel and knowingly assisting a person to land at a place not designated as a port of entry.

The RVIPF said anyone who may have seen Nyron Erickson or have information on his whereabouts should contact the RVIPF at its three-digit access number 311 or the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339.
