Man Sustains Wounds To Shoulder And Triceps During Nightclub Fracas

CROIX -- Police say emergency physicians had not determined whether a victim who was being treated for wounds sustained during a fight at the Aqua Lounge Nightclub early Saturday were caused by a gunshot or knife. But gunshots were fired, according to the victim, who told police that a gun was pointed to his face after involving himself in a fight with a group of men from Mon Bijou, who were apparently beating his friend. The Consortium caught wind of the incident after multiple postings on social media, and sought more information from V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte. According to Mr. Dratte, at about 3:44 a.m. that morning, the 911 emergency call center received notification of an incident that occurred at the Aqua Lounge Nightclub, possibly involving gunshots.
