VIPD Arrests Raheim George for Headbutting Woman, Causing Black Eye in St. Thomas

Officers arrested Raheim George after he allegedly headbutted a woman multiple times, leaving her with a black eye. He was charged with domestic violence-related offenses and remains in custody pending his Advice of Rights hearing on February 24, 2025.

ST. THOMAS — Officers from the V.I. Police Department Domestic Violence Unit arrested 51-year-old Raheim George on February 22 in connection with a reported domestic violence incident in Estate Smith Bay.

According to the VIPD, officers were notified of a simple assault case early Saturday morning. The victim, an adult female, reported that around 3:00 a.m. on February 22, George allegedly struck her in the face multiple times with his head, resulting in a black eye.

Later that afternoon, at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers apprehended George and transported him to the Criminal Investigation Bureau for questioning. He provided a statement but denied the allegations. Following the investigation, he was arrested and charged with simple assault - domestic violence and aggravated assault and battery - domestic violence.

After being booked, George was transferred to the Bureau of Corrections while awaiting his Advice of Rights Hearing on Monday. However, a docket search revealed no record of the proceeding in his case.
