
V.I. Lottery Hit by Cyberattack, Retail Sales and Prize Claims Temporarily Halted

The Virgin Islands Lottery announced on Monday night a temporary suspension of all operations after falling victim to a cybersecurity attack that has significantly disrupted its information technology systems. As a result of the attack, Drawing #1047, which was originally scheduled for March 13, 2025, has been further delayed. The draw had already been postponed due to air quality concerns at the St. Thomas office. The delay now extends indefinitely until system functionality is fully restored.
