Administration Details Bryan Itinerary For Washington, D.C. Trip

Governor Albert Bryan has scheduled a series of meetings with various agencies and entities while he is in Washington, D.C. this week, Government House has announced. The governor left the territory Friday and is scheduled to return on Nov. 4.

Beginning Tuesday through Thursday, Mr. Bryan and some of his senior policy advisors and cabinet members will attend 21 meetings, starting with a meeting with Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett Tuesday morning on Capitol Hill, according to the release.

In addition to a number of meetings with private firms, Mr. Bryan has scheduled meetings with the following, according to Government House:

  • House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California)
  • Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Community Planning and Development David Woll Jr.
  • Officials at the Interior Department and the Office of Insular Affairs
  • Health and Human Services Deputy Secretary Eric Hargan
  • House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-South Carolina)
  • Treasury Deputy Secretary Justin Muzinich
  • Rep. Daren Soto (D-Florida)
  • Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-New York)
  • Rep. Bennie Gordon Thompson (D-Mississippi)
  • Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Missouri)
  • FEMA Acting Administrator Pete Gaynor
  • Sen. Joe Manchin III (D-West Virginia)
  • Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska)
  • Officials from the Democratic Governors Association
  • Clay Armentrout, Legislative Director and Counsel for Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Alabama)

Among the staff traveling with the governor who will fully participate in meetings are Chief of Staff Karl Knight; Senior Legal Counsel David Bornn; Communications Director Richard Motta Jr.; Office of Disaster Recovery Director Adrienne Williams-Octalien; and Housing Finance Authority Executive Director Daryl Griffith, according to Government House.
