Bryan Cabinet Members From St. Thomas-St. John District Sworn In; Ceremony For St. Croix Members Happens Today

Bryan administration cabinet members in the St. Thomas-St. John District no longer wear the designee title. On Monday, at the University of the Virgin Islands, they were sworn in and vowed to perform their duties with integrity.

Those sworn in on Monday include the following:

  • Kirk Callwood Sr., Finance Commissioner
  • Denise N. George, Attorney General
  • Jenifer C. O’Neal, Office of Management and Budget Director
  • Racquel Berry-Benjamin, Education Commissioner
  • Nelson Petty Jr., Public Works Commissioner
  • Anthony D. Thomas, Property and Procurement Commissioner
  • Joseph B. Boschulte, Tourism Commissioner
  • Jean-Pierre L. Oriol, Department of Planning and Natural Resources Commissioner
  • Dayna M. Clendinen, Personnel Director
  • Daryl A. George, V.I. Fire Service Director
  • Wynnie Testamark, Corrections Bureau Director
  • Patrick Farrell, Veteran Affairs Director

Today at Government House on St. Croix, the following designees will be sworn in:

  • Positive T.A. Nelson, Agriculture Commissioner
  • Gary Molloy, Labor Commissioner
  • Justa E. Encarnacion, Health Commissioner
  • Joel A. Lee, Internal Revenue Bureau Director
  • Barbara Jackson McIntosh, Motor Vehicles Bureau Director
  • Kyle Fleming, Virgin Islands Energy Office Director

According to Government House, Office of Collective Bargaining Chief Negotiator Designee Joss Springette will be sworn in at a later date.

The administration is still waiting on the 33rd Legislature to hold hearings on a number of positions, according to Government House. They include the following:

  • Sports, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Nominee Calvert White
  • Department of Human Services Commissioner Nominee Kimberley Causey-Gomez
  • Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs Commissioner Nominee Richard Evangelista
  • Adjutant General Nominee Col. Kodjo Knox-Limbacker
  • Bureau of Information Technology Director Nominee Rupert O. Ross
  • V.I. Lottery Director Nominee Raymond Williams
