Parole Hearings Scheduled By VI Parole Board For Convicts Ranging From Murder To Mayhem

The Virgin Islands Parole Board will convene over the course of several days, beginning next month, to hear testimonies from persons for and against inmates incarcerated at various penal institutions, the board recently announced.

During the following days, the board will meet inmates at the Criminal Justice Complex located in St. Thomas on May 28. Then on May 29, inmates at the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility. All meetings will start at 8:00 a.m. and the afternoon sessions will start at 12:30, the board said.

The board will also meet inmates on June 3, inmates at Tallahatchie County Correctional Facility located in Tutwiler, MS; on June 5 at the Keen Mountain Correctional Facility in Oakwood, VA; Red Onion State Prison located at Big Stone Gap, VA and Wallen Ridge State Prison located in Pound, VA; and on June 7 at Citrus County Detention Facility, Lecanto, FL.

For individual who will be sharing testimony on behalf of or against any inmate located at Citrus County Detention Center, Tallahatchie County Correctional Center, Keen Mountain Correctional Center, Red Onion State Prison and Wallen Ridge State Prison, the Parle Board will be taking their information on May 30 at Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility in person or via telephone.

The board will be traveling to the mainland to conduct parole hearings for the following inmates at the following prisons:
