The Virgin Islands Department of Education, St. Thomas said Monday that the Addelita Cancryn Junior High School will be open for instruction Tuesday.
The school was closed on April 8 due to a water service interruption affecting the campus as a result of a damaged main pipeline in the downtown Charlotte Amalie area, D.O.E. said. Water and Power Authority crews were successful in repairing the line and water service has since been restored.
The Department of Education thanked the community for its patience and understanding as the matter was resolved.
