Interviews And Drinks: St. Croix Artists Stop By Consortium Studios Tonight

Carnival Updates / Entertainment / News / December 15, 2018

ST. CROIX — As the Crucian Christmas Festival season draws closer (events kickoff on December 26), The Consortium on Saturday night is hosting an “Interviews and Drinks” event featuring local recording artists and producers. The idea is to give these artists an opportunity to introduce their music to our audience, while talking about the music scene in the territory.

The broadcast will start at 7:30 p.m. and run into the night. The show will take on a lighthearted, easy flowing feel, and there will be free eats and drinks.

Confirmed participants so far include Iaryn “Swanks” Williams, a master producer in the territory. Along with Mr. Williams will be Adam O., who recently dropped a big hit called Wine and Dip, Bugz Bugs and Monea. Fusion Band will also be on set, along with the younger generation’s Hypa-Aktiv Krew.

Toby Derima is also expected to stop by. Alwyn “Daddy Jones” Baptiste will be interviewed separately as he’ll be off island today, we’re expecting to see Pumpa drop by as well.

Our Festival Village host, Sacha Alexander and The Consortium team will be on hand to preview the upcoming season. VIC founder Ernice Gilbert will also be on set.

Join us tonight on Facebook or on the website.
