Man Shot Dead In St. Thomas Housing Community In Wee Hours Of Wednesday

ST. THOMAS — A man was shot dead in the wee hours of Wednesday at the Oswald Haris Court Housing Community here, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte has announced.

According to Mr. Dratte, the 911 emergency call center received notification from a concerned resident that someone was crying in building four of the housing community, which is located to the rear of the property.

The V.I.P.D.’s Criminal Investigation Bureau (C.I.B.) were dispatched to the housing community and discovered an unresponsive black male lying lifeless on the ground behind building 4. The victim’s wound indicated that he sustained a gunshot wound to the body, according to Mr. Dratte.

The victim was identified by next of kin as Pierre Nelson Brock, 42.
