ST. THOMAS — After a protracted saga that saw Kevin Rodriquez being barred from being seated in the 32nd Legislature by the Virgin Islands Supreme Court — a judgement that was preceded by court cases in the local and district courts surrounding Mr. Rodriquez’s residency — USVI citizens living in the St. Thomas-St. John district will vote today in a special election, with fourteen candidates to choose from. Polls open at 7:00 a.m.
Polling places for the special election in St. Thomas include the Charlotte Amalie High School, Charles Turnbull Library, Gladys Abraham Elementary School, Addelita Cancryn Junior High School, and the Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School. In St. John, the St. Thomas-St. John Board of Elections has designated the Julius Sprauve School as the polling place.
