St. Thomas Arrests: January 12-14

VIPD Media Specialist Sakeeda Freeman announced the following arrests on St. Thomas from Jan 12-14.

Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 3:00 p.m., Shane Soucek, 44, of Altona was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Refusing to perform the standardized field sobriety test, Mr. Soucek was arrested for driving recklessly and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol in the vicinity of Norre Gade. Unable to make bail of $500.00, Mr. Soucek was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., Jerrel Joseph, 27, of an unknown address was arrested and charged with third degree robbery after he was identified by the victim as the individual who robbed him in the vicinity of Exotic Flowers on Dronningens Gade. Mr. Joseph was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing, after failing to make bail of $75,000.


Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 5:30pm, Dominik Weekes, 25, of Bovoni was arrested and charged with first degree robbery after he was identified as one of the individuals involved in a home invasion that took place on January 11, 2016 at approximately 3:15 p.m. The victims stated that on January 11, 2016 two men armed with guns entered their residence and demanded their safe. The victims handed over the safe, which contained an undetermined amount of money, to the two men who fled the scene immediately after. The incident is under investigation by detectives with the Crimina Investigation Bureau.

Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 7:45 pm, Kadeem Hodge, 23 of Frydenhoj was arrested and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm after he was caught speeding in the vicinity of Contant Knolls without his seatbelt. Unable to make bail of $25,000, Mr. Hodge was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.
