The current system is expected to bring widespread rainfall and storm activity until late evening, though conditions are forecast to improve overnight. A second tropical wave, which forecasters describe as weaker, is expected to pass through the area on Monday.

Despite the unstable weather pattern, the risk of rip currents remains low across all local islands, offering some reassurance for those engaging in coastal or marine activities.
