Final Phase of Frederiksted Road Improvements Begins With Work Planned on King, Queen, Strand and Fisher Streets

The Bryan administration has begun the final phase of road improvements in Frederiksted town, with initial mobilization underway for milling, reconstruction and paving on King Street, Queen Street, Strand Street and portions of Fisher Street. The work is being carried out through the V.I. Department of Public Works by contractor Marco St. Croix Inc. Government House said the project is part of the administration’s broader effort to improve road conditions, strengthen public infrastructure and support the ongoing revitalization of Frederiksted. Crews have begun preparation work, including staging equipment, assessing work areas and preparing traffic control measures ahead of active road construction.
