Dear Editor,

My name is Camila Rojas, I was raised on the island of St.Thomas and currently reside in Boston, Massachusetts. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, I am unable to travel to St. Thomas to celebrate my daughter's graduation which has been canceled and is now scheduled virtually.

I would like to take this opportunity to highlight two young ladies: my daughter Aejah Rojas and her best friend Brianna Esprit, who are part of the Charlotte Amalie High School Class of 2020. Both ladies have achieved academically with honors and great sportsmanship. They have been on the school basketball and track team competing for their school in Puerto Rico and St. Croix. They are both employed as part-time students at Kmart and have been working on the frontline during this Covid-19 Pandemic serving their community.

I would like to ask you to use this platform to highlight these exceptional young ladies in thier achievements during their graduation week. Let us cheer them on our Virgin Islands pride. Please help me celebrate this moment and use your platform to highlight them.

Thank you

Camila Rojas
