St. Croix Man Shot Multiple Times at his Home, Survives Incident

ST. CROIX — A man was shot multiple times at his own home in Adventure Hill, but was able to escape alive, the V.I.P.D. has announced.

According to police, on Friday at 12:11 p.m., the 911 emergency call center received notification regarding a shooting victim in the Adventure Hill area. Upon officers’ arrival, they discovered an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim stated that he was assaulted by two unknown black males who approached him at his residence. The victim further stated that one of the individuals pointed a firearm at him and shot him multiple times.

The victim was able to flee the area and get to safety, police said. He was transported to the Governor Juan Luis Hospital and Medical Center for treatment.
