St. Thomas Father, Son Arrested In Metal Pipe Attack

Allynford Fleming, 46, and his 23-year-old son, Sha’mall Fleming, were arrested on Tuesday morning in St. Thomas for beating a 49-year-old male victim with a stick and a metal pipe. The victim sustained bruising on his face and head when the Feb. 25 incident occurred.

Both men were taken into police custody on Sept. 23 at about 7:30 a.m., pursuant to a warrant issued by the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands dated March 17. They were charged with Third Degree Assault, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon During the Commission of a Crime of Violence, and Aiding and Abetting.

The suspects are being held on bails of $25,000 each and were remanded to the Bureau of Corrections while they await further court action.
