ST. THOMAS — You know the carnival season in St. Thomas is heating up when the winners of this year’s Prince and Petite Princess competition are named.

Shacoy Emanuel and Amaya Marks were the winners of this year’s show, which was held on Sunday at the University of the Virgin Islands Gymnasium in St. Thomas.
