In Memoriam | Lisa Sharon Damaso

Community Center / Obituary / January 1, 2019

Lisa Sharon Damaso, age 50, a Lee County Florida resident since July of 2009 and former resident of Frederiksted, St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands went to be with the Lord, unexpectedly at Lee Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 20, 2018.

Lisa was born in San Fernando, Trinidad on July 2, 1968, and was the cherished daughter of David Jethro Crosby (deceased) and Roslyn Geraldine (Noel) Crosby of Penal, Trinidad. Beloved wife of Radhames Antonio Damaso whom she married on August 24th, 1991; devoted mother of Jeffrey Reynaldo Damaso, Jason Aurelio Damaso, Jeremiah David Damaso, and Radhames Antonio Damaso Jr.; devoted sister of Garry Crosby, Hector Crosby, Nigel Crosby, Angelina Crosby-Pigott, and Merlyndar Crosby; daughter-in-law of Aurelio Damaso Ramos (deceased) and Nila Luis Brito; she was also a loving aunt, cousin, co-worker, and friend.

As a devoted woman of God Lisa possessed an unshakable faith and lived every day of her life to glorify God. Lisa’s favorite verse was Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” She fought the good fight, finished her race and received her reward.

Lisa was a member of Calvary Church (formerly Calvary International and Harvest Ministries) where she sang soprano on the praise team and also served alongside her husband leading the Spanish service at Calvary Church. While living in St. Croix, Lisa and her family were members of Church of God Sun of Justice under the care of Pastor Israel Cruz Taylor. She worked at Bonita Springs Utilities as an Accounting Specialist II and held previous employment at Myers, Brettholtz & Company, Devry University, Innovative Telecommunications Company, and Marshall & Sterling Insurance.

Lisa’s Life Celebration Service will be officiated by Pastor Tony Holley of Calvary Church. Visitation is Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 11:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM at Victory Christian Center located at 1201 Taylor Ln, Lehigh Acres, FL 33936. Interment will take place at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913 following the service.

The Damaso family is deeply touched by the overwhelming request to help during this extremely difficult time. Floral arrangements and cards can be sent to The Damaso Family, in care of Calvary Church, 19850 Palm Beach Blvd Alva, FL 33920.
