VI Consortium’s Ernice Gilbert To Interview Governor Mapp (Update: Interview Pushed Back To Friday)

Update: The interview has been pushed back to Friday evening, following an island-wide power outage.

Original Story: VI Consortium Founder Ernice Gilbert will hold an all-encompassing interview with Governor Kenneth Mapp at 8:00 p.m. tonight, The Consortium was told.

The interview will be conducted at Mr. Mapp’s headquarters in Peter’s Rest, St. Croix, according to information provided to this publication.

A small audience is expected to be in the room where the interview will be held, and the event is set to be simulcast on a number of radio stations in the St. Croix and St. Thomas-St. John Districts.

Mr. Gilbert said today that he was looking forward to the one-on-one with the governor, adding that he would ask Mr. Mapp pertinent questions affecting the territory.

The interview will be broadcast live on The Consortium’s Facebook platform and website.
