Happening Today: VI Consortium/WTJX Voter Registration Drive Concert

Entertainment / News / Videos / September 29, 2018

ST. CROIX — VI Consortium and WTJX employees are currently preparing for today’s voter registration drive event, dubbed Count It Up, to be held on the grounds of the Canegata Ball Park from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Nailah Blackman and her team arrived here on Friday, Iaryn “Swanks” Williams, the leader of Big Band, also arrived on island Friday, and Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights are ready to fill the atmosphere with Quelbe music.

Do join us; it is expected to be a memorable time.

Remember: The event is for voters only. That means there’s no entry fee to attend the show, however, one must show a valid voter’s ID or a document proving American citizenship — U.S. passport, birth certificate, DD 214 (military discharge document) or a U.S. naturalization certificate — to be allowed in. Those who are not yet registered to vote will be given an opportunity to do so on the spot, as members of the Board of Elections and the Elections System of the Virgin Islands will be present to register individuals.

See you tonight!
