Democratic candidates vying for public office in this year’s election cycle cast lots on Friday, with Angel Dawson and Marise James, a Democratic gubernatorial team, snatching the coveted number 1 spot for the upcoming Democratic primary, which will be held on August 4.

See all results below, including placements for the upcoming 33rd Legislature in both districts. There will be another casting of lots for the general election, which will include the independent candidates as well.
