ST. CROIX — The 2017-18 Crucian Christmas Festival is well underway, with the events — spanning twelve days — officially opening with the Festival Village ribbon-cutting affair on Tuesday night, where local officials spoke about this year’s celebration in light of the two storms that affected the territory in September.

Speaking at the Festival Village were Acting Governor Osbert Potter, Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett, V.I.P.D. Commissioner Delroy Richards, Festival Committee Chairman Davidson Charlemagne and Committee member Melody Rames.
