Roadwork In Multiple Areas Commences In St. Thomas; Road Closures Announced

The Department of Public Works has let loose its employees to start road work in a number of areas on St. Thomas, according to a release the department issued on Wednesday, which was forwarded to The Consortium on Thursday.

The announcement follows the resignation of Gustav James, who led D.P.W. for the first two years of the Mapp administration. However, the work announced Wednesday was most likely prepared during Mr. James’s tenure.
