Scotiabank Donates To Nonprofit Supporting Veterans

ST. CROIX — Scotiabank continued its commitment to organizations in the Virgin Islands community with a recent donation to Virgin Islands for Veterans, Inc. (VI4Vets, Inc.). The presentation took place at Scotiabank’s Altona Branch in St. Thomas.

The Virgin Islands for Veterans program is a veteran operated and organized nonprofit public charity that was developed by veterans for service members, fellow veterans, and their family members. The organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life and care for veterans living in the territory.

“It is always exciting when we can give back to the communities in which we serve. With this donation, Scotiabank confirms our commitment to organizations that promote a better quality of life for veterans and their families,” said Christine N. Lee, marketing officer at Scotiabank USVI.

“The support and generosity of Scotiabank reinforces the Virgin Islands’ commitment to service members, veterans, and their families. This donation will support VI4Vets, Inc.’s community outreach efforts and services to its members,” said Jon Rich, executive director, VI4Vets, Inc.

Representing Scotiabank during the presentation were Reid Brett, commercial services manager and Ms. Lee. Mr. Rich, Rebekah Rich, assistant director of VI4Vets, and Lexy Barber, team lead were all present to accept the donation on behalf of Virgin Islands for Veterans, Inc.
