Possible Suicide Reported In St. Thomas

ST. THOMAS — A possible suicide incident that occurred on Monday has resulted in the death of a male victim, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte has announced.

According to Mr. Dratte, officers were dispatched to Estate Hope to investigate the matter, and upon their arrival to the scene, discovered an unresponsive Caucasian male victim. The victim was examined by emergency medical technicians, who found no vital signs of life, police say.

The case is currently under investigation by the Major Crimes Unit, according to Mr. Dratte. The force is asking anyone with information that may lead to the apprehension of those involved in criminal activity to contact the Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211 ext. 5569, or 340-714-983.
