Man Robs Female Victim At Gunpoint

ST.  THOMAS — A female victim was robbed at gunpoint while in her home on Wednesday night, V.I.P.D. Media Specialist Sakeeda Freeman has announced.

According to Ms. Freeman, on Thursday at approximately 12:05 a.m., the 911 emergency call center dispatched officers to a first-degree burglary incident in the area of Silke Gade.

Upon arrival to the scene, contact was made with a female victim, who told police that at 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while at her home, a masked man entered her house and placed a gun to her head. The victim said the suspect left her house with a handbag that contained $300. He fled on foot, she said.
