V.I.P.D. Offering Police Examination Preparation Course

ST. CROIX — The Virgin Islands Police Department will be offering a police examination preparation course twice a month starting in April for the St. Croix district, the V.I.P.D. has announced.

According to the release, the course will develop the confidence and skills needed to take the police officer entrance examination. As a result of successfully participating in this course, applicants should:

1. Recognize the academic content covered by the police officer entrance examination.
2. Gain skills and approaches in answering different questions based on grammar, reasoning, reading comprehension, memorization, and other related courses.
3. Increased confidence in general test-taking strategies.

These sessions will enable participants to learn the skills and techniques necessary. However, it does not guarantee entry as participants will need to pass and meet the other criteria specified by the V.I.P.D., according to the release.
