ST. CROIX — Troupe owners looking to participate in the Crucian Christmas Festival 2016-17 parade activities set for January 6 and 7, will be barred from participating if troupe owners fail to register their groups by January 3, which is today, Festival Marshall Akeel Phillips has made known.

Potential participants will also get a chance at final registration at the Festival Village on Tuesday night, according to Mr. Phillips.
This year, judging of parade troupes for both the Children’s and Adults parades will take place from one booth — the governor’s stand — according to Mr. Phillips. Past years saw two separate judging booths for the Children’s and Adults parades, he said.
