Police Searching For Missing St. Croix Woman

ST. CROIX — A woman who was last seen in the vicinity of The Ice Cream Shoppe, located in the Sunny Isle Shopping Center at roughly 6:30 p.m. on Monday, has been reported as missing by concerned family members, according to VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson.

Wanda Rivas, age 47, was wearing a red, blue and white striped blouse with blue jeans. Rivas, a Hispanic woman, is 5’3” and weighs 130 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes, and is known to frequent Cool Runnings Bar, Frederiksted, Campo Rico, Walter I.M. Hodge Pavilion (Safareli), Lagoon Street Complex and Chris’ Hideaway Bar.

The VIPD is asking anyone who knows of Rivas’ whereabouts to contact Detective Moses Francis at 340-712-6094, 712-6017, or 712-6026.
