Man Arrested In Anna’s Retreat Stabbing Incident

Claudius George, 30, of St. Thomas, was arrested Friday in the non-fatal stabbing of a St. Thomas man, according to VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson.

The incident took place at about 1 p.m. March 13 in the area of Anna’s Retreat. Officers were called to the Roy L. Schneider Medical Center where a man, transported there by private vehicle, had been admitted to the Emergency Room seeking treatment for a stab wound.

By 2:10 p.m., officers had located George and arrested him.

George is charged with third-degree assault and disturbance of the peace. Bail was set at $25,000. Unable to post bail, George has been remanded to the Bureau of Corrections.
