Accident In St. Thomas Leads To Death Of 60-Year-Old Man

At about 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12 Traffic Enforcement officers on St. Thomas were dispatched to a scene where a white male, who was driving an orange 2011 Jeep Wrangler, died after crashing into the rear of a dumpster truck while traveling west on the Nicholas Friday Drive in the area of Eco Tours Kayaks, police spokesperson Melody Rames has revealed.

The man was 60 years old.

Police are awaiting a definitive identification from the victim’s next of kin before releasing his name. Traffic officers continue to investigate the unfortunate incident.
